A Simple Way To Get B12, D3 and Omega-3s You Need

I want to tell you about a solution I’ve found to a common problem.

A whole food, plant-based diet that I promote is great for weight loss and health. It is also protective against cancer, heart disease, type-2 diabetes, dementia, and many other health issues.

The problem is that in the long run you may run into some deficiency problems.

As it turns out, a few key nutrients are difficult to get from vegan and vegetarian diets.

And in fact, most people today, plant-based or not, aren’t getting enough of these nutrients.

I’m talking about vitamins B12 and D3 and the long-chain Omega-3 fatty acids, DHA and EPA.

Deficiencies of these nutrients are damaging the health and well-being of millions of people.

Check out my favorite easy solution here.

I’m a big fan of getting nutrients from food. But in today’s overly processed and overly sanitized world, many people struggle to get enough of a few critical nutrients from food.

For example, B12 is not available in any plant foods, and even many meat-eaters, especially as they age, are turning out to be deficient.

D3 is hardly available in any foods. Your body makes it in response to sunshine – and in the modern world, most of us don’t get nearly as much as we need (especially in the winter months).

And the long chain Omega-3’s are essentially only available from fish and algae. While fish can be a good source of them, today’s fish frequently come from polluted and increasingly depleted waters, and are often contaminated with heavy metals like mercury.

That’s why I was so jazzed to hear about a solution that can help me and my family stay healthy.

It’s not another supplement – it’s a Complement. It complements a whole-food plant-based diet by adding in the recommended amounts of these important nutrients.

It’s really simple. All you need to do is squirt six sprays of it straight into your mouth or onto your food once per day, and you’ll get the recommended levels of these three nutrients met all at once.

What’s great is that Complement is totally non-GMO and vegan, and it’s free of sugar, chemical additives, and fillers.

I’ve been taking Complement since I found out about it and my husband, who hate taking pills, has been enjoying it too.

What’s cool about Complement is that it’s made in small batches in California, and the founders are whole food, plant-based eaters themselves.

Our buddy, Matt Frazier, explains how their pricing compares to other brands and options. In case you’re interested, here’s what he said:

“The truth is that Complement is unique because no other product offers this proprietary combination. But to offer a realistic comparison, we’ll use prices from the top-rated products on Amazon that provide these nutrients separately, and that meet our threshold for being organic, using non-GMO ingredients, and including as few as possible of fillers/preservatives like magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, carrageenan, etc.

Please note that to standardize the price, we’re using ‘price per daily serving.’

DHA/EPA – There are only a few comparable vegan products (i.e., algal rather than fish oil). These range from $0.50 – $0.89 per day. (Note: the lower end of the range are capsule form, which could hide spoiled oil and include ‘caramel color,’ carrageenan, and modified corn starch, among other ingredients.)

B12 runs between $0.10 – $0.49+ for a decent quality (i.e., organic and without artificial additives, preservatives or other fillers). Average is close to $0.33 per daily serving with only one outlier being $0.10.

Vitamin D offers a large range of pricing, but only a few options that compare to Complement. What makes Complement unique is we use a vegan D3. Most ‘Vitamin D’ is D2, which is cheaper and arguably not as bio-active since humans natively produce D3. You can get D3 from the lanolin in sheep’s fur, but that’s not a plant-based or vegan source. Our D3 comes from lichen (similar to mushrooms). So a comparable D3, in isolation, costs between $0.24 – $0.45. (Note: the lower end of the range includes sorbitol, carrageenan, and other questionable items.)

So, all in, buying the three nutrients separately costs a minimum of $0.84, if you’re OK with those unsavory ingredients, it’s going to run at least $1.83 per day, when bought separately. And of course, there’s a certain convenience to having all three of these items combined in one place, if you want to take them all daily, anyways.”

So that’s what Matt said.

Right now, when you sign up for a subscription, you can enjoy Complement for less than $1 per day — a huge discount considering how much it can cost to get all these essential nutrients separately.
