Ingredients
- 2-3 tbsp chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Juice of 1/2 lime
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- 2 garlic cloves or 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp nutritional yeast
- 1 tbsp vinegar (I use apple cider)
- 1/2-1 cup water
- 2 tsp maple syrup
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. Start with 1/2 cup water and see how you like the consistency.
- For lower fat add more water or leave it out completely. You can sub the oil with a small amount of raw nuts like cashews (1/4 cup).
- Add to tacos, burrito bowls or taco salad. Also makes a great marinade for tofu!
