- In a pot over medium heat add in 1/2 cup of water, the apples, dates, ginger, lemon juice, half the cinnamon and a pinch of salt. Let it cook for about 5-6 minutes until the apples are soft and most of the water cooks off. It turns into a syrup consistency and is so good!
- Once that’s done transfer it to a bowl. In your sauce pan add in 1 cup of water and your oats and bring to a a low simmer over medium heat. Add in your protein powder and the rest of the cinnamon. Let cook until the oats thicken to your preferred consistency.
- Once done add oats into a bowl and top with the cooked apples. You can add some seeds or coconut flakes to this as well! Enjoy!
